Montrose is an international development project management and consultancy company providing support to clients operating in the developing world. Specialised in the sectors of health, education, enterprise and social performance, our clients include bilateral and multilateral development agencies, the private sector, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other development stakeholders.
Montrose are seeking to recruit consultants to provide both long and short-term technical assistance to upcoming programmes in the health sector in Sierra Leone. We are specifically seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas:
- Family Planning
- Maternal Health Services
- Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI)
- Expanded Program on Immunizations (EPI) programmes
- Human Resources for Health (HRH) Strategic Plan implementation
- Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Data analysis and use of data for decision making
- District Health Management
- Community Health Workers
- Community accountability
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
Candidates should possess prior experience in Sierra Leone (preferred) or experience of working in similar contexts in the region (essential), for example in post-crisis environments. Sierra Leonean nationals are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
- Relevant undergraduate (essential) or post graduate (preferred) degree
- A minimum of 5 years’ professional consulting experience in relevant sector(s)
- Full working proficiency in English along with excellent writing and presentation skills
- Experience working in relevant technical fields in Sierra Leone (preferred) or similar contexts (essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
